Constructed for the City of Phoenix Arts Commission in cooperation with the Parks Department and Salt River Project, this highly visible recreational landmark encompasses 64,000 SF and includes desert masonry walls, pathways, water features, a pedestrian bridge, shade canopy, landscaping, numerous art elements, and a 600 SF restroom facility.

This project has won multiple awards including the 2003 President's Award as Top Environmental Project from Valley Forward, 2003 Best Renovation Project Under $5 million from Southwest Contractor, and the 2004 APWA Public Works Project of the Year for Environment $2 million to $10 million.
