Achen-Gardner Construction Heavy Civil General Contractor Monthly Newsletter April 2014 2014 Roads & Streets Conference Achen-Gardner sponsored and hosted the Closing Reception and Trade Show Drawing at the 63rd Annual Conference on Roads & Streets on April 17th. Dan Spitza, Achen-Gardner Vice President and Co-Owner, was the MC for the event and called out the names of attendees who were drawn for a prize. Approximately 1,400 attendees and 100 exhibitors participated in the 2014 conference. Visit our website for more photos and information. What everyone is talking about... In 1989, Achen-Gardner Engineering (which is now AGC) shared office space with Farmers Insurance in Chandler and also worked part time out of another office in the City of Casa Grande. Early employees, including AGC President Dennis Troggio, would take their computers home at the end of each day, not knowing where they would be going to work the next day. This continued for six months until full-time office space was acquired in Chandler. In 1995, AGC moved to a new office in Chandler (pictured below), and in 2013 we established an office in Tucson.
