We are very proud to receive a Build Arizona Award from the Arizona Chapter Associated General Contractors (AGC).
Achen-Gardner Construction’s South Chandler Wastewater Force Main, Water Transmission Main, and Lift Station Project won a 2013 Build Arizona Award in the Public New Construction, CMAR (Metro) – Municipal Utilities projects over $10 million category. Members of the project team will accept the award during the AGC Annual Awards Banquet at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix on April 11.
The prestigious Build Arizona Awards are bestowed annually on the greatest construction projects in Arizona. Award winners are judged on their state-of-the-art advancement in construction, project management, client services, optimum safety records, community contributions, environmental sensitivities and how well they meet the challenges of a difficult job, while striving to build a quality project on time and within budget.
Dan Spitza, Achen-Gardner Construction Vice President, will be speaking about the South Chandler Wastewater Force Main, Water Transmission Main and Lift Station Project at the AZ Water Association's 87th Annual Conference. His presentation, Responding to Growth Challenges in the East Valley, will take place on Thursday May 8, 2014 at 2:30 P.M.
The South Chandler Wastewater Force Main, Water Transmission Main and Lift Station Project has also won an ACEC AZ Grand Award.
Achen-Gardner has previously won two other Build Arizona Awards, for the Centennial Way Federal Aid Transportation Enhancement project and the Pima Road – Loop 101 to Pinnacle Peak CMAR project.
