We will be giving a presentation on our South Arizona Avenue Corridor Improvements Project and handing out prizes at the Dessert Reception during the 62nd Annual Arizona Conference on Roads & Streets.
The Arizona Conference on Roads & Streets is the largest annual event for Arizona engineers, contractors and their vendors, from both the public and private sectors. Approximately 1,400 attendees and 100 exhibitors showed up for the 2012 Conference and even more people are expected this year. All seminars and the trade show will be held at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, AZ on March 27-29, 2013.
Achen-Gardner Construction (AGC) has sponsored the Thursday Evening Reception and Trade Show Drawing for the past several years and we will sponsor again this year. Dan Spitza, AGC Vice President, will MC the event and call out the names of the trade show prize winners. This year’s reception will feature a salsa bar and a variety of appetizers.
On Friday, March 29th, Christie Hall (Project Director, Achen-Gardner Construction) will be joining Jeffrey Velasquez (RLA, J2 Engineering & Environmental Design), Teri Killgore (Downtown Redevelopment Manager, City of Chandler) and R.J. Zeder (Public Works Director, City of Chandler) for a seminar titled "Building More than ‘Just a Road’ – Designing for Economic Development: The South Arizona Avenue Improvement Project" from 11 a.m. to noon in the Tucson Room. The presentation will highlight the highly successful AGC/City of Chandler South Arizona Avenue Corridor Improvements Project.
