Achen-Gardner Construction hosted a live demonstration of our Ultraviolet Light (UV) Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation process for members of the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department.
On Friday, September 28, 2012, we installed 300 LF of 8-inch UV CIPP south of Irvington Road and east of Interstate 19 in Tucson. The demo was successful in showing how Achen-Gardner Construction used Reline America's trenchless pipe technology to rehabilitate the existing sanitary sewer line. In addition to sewer lines, UV CIPP can also be utilized to rehabilitate storm drain and irrigation pipe. UV CIPP can be used on pipe ranging from 6 inches to 48 inches. The event was sponsored by Achen-Gardner Construction and representatives from the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department and Brown and Caldwell attended the demonstration. Dan Broderick, Achen-Gardner's Director of Pipeline Rehabilitation, was on-site to explain the UV CIPP process, answer questions, and promote this high-quality and cost-competitive CIPP rehabilitation solution. Dan Broderick added "We were very excited to have the opportunity to show Pima County what the Reline product could do for them."
