| Photos and highlights from the 2011 Arizona Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) Statewide Conference. Achen-Gardner Construction, LLC featured a booth at the 2011 Arizona APWA Statewide Conference which was held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona on August 8-9, 2011. We handed out tumblers (high-quality cups), clips, and had two drawings for $100 Visa gift cards. On Tuesday (August 9, 2011) we attended the awards luncheon and received the Arizona Public Works Project Of The Year (Transportation $5-$25 Million category) award for the South Arizona Avenue Corridor Improvements Project. Congratulations to Steve Pageau with URS and Beth Villa with Arizona Pacific Pulp and Paper, Inc. for winning our $100 Visa gift cards at our booth.
