Scholarship Thank You Letters Print

Two of the Mike Kolling Memorial Scholarship recipients share their appreciation for receiving financial support.

The Annual Mike Kolling Memorial Scholarship is an event designed to bring together friends and peers of the late Mike Kolling to celebrate his life and to raise funds that will benefit local Construction and Engineering School students at Arizona State University (ASU), University of Arizona (U of A), and Northern Arizona University (NAU).

More than $69,000 in scholarship funds have been raised through the Mike Kolling Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournaments. Established in partnership with ASU, U of A, and NAU, the scholarships are awarded to students based on academic competency and financial need.

Seven students are selected to receive scholarship funds every semester. Two of these recipients are attending ASU's Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering this fall. Nicholas Palmer received the Mike Killing Memorial Scholarship for Civil Engineering and Cynthia Barela received the Mike Killing Memorial Scholarship for Construction. It is our pleasure to support these students financially and we really appreciate their thank you letters.
