WHAT: Centennial Way Project
Spanning Washington Street from 7th to 15th Avenues, the “Centennial Way” projects includes new widened decorative sidewalks, better defined crosswalks, ADA curb ramps, bike lanes, enhanced pedestrian lighting, landscaping, and streetscape elements such as shade structures, country and tribal markets.

ADDITIONAL EVENT INFORMATION:
> Parking – DEQ, 10th Ave and Washington
> City of Phoenix, in partnership with ADOT and the Arizona Centennial Commission will break ground on a $7.1 million road improvement project.
> Project slated for completion in December with final landscape elements installed by February 14, 2012.
> The “Centennial Project” is funded by federal transportation enhancement grant and the City of Phoenix.
