AGC Wins Arizona Public Works Project of the Year! Print

Achen-Gardner Construction, LLC has received the AzAPWA Public Works Project Of The Year Award for our South Arizona Avenue Corridor Improvements Project.

2411-Arizona-Avenue-290px-380px-15We are honored to win the Arizona Chapter American Public Works Association (AzAPWA) award in the Transportation ($5 million - $25 million) Category. Members of the project team will accept the award and celebrate this achievement at the AZAPWA Statewide Conference on August 8-9, 2011, at the Phoenix Convention Center. The project has also been sent to APWA National to compete for the National Public Works Project of the Year.

The South Arizona Avenue Corridor Improvements Project has also won the Arizona Chapter Associated General Contractors' BUILD ARIZONA AWARD as well as the GENERAL DESIGN AWARD from the Arizona Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects.

This Construction Manager at Risk project for the City of Chandler began in March 2010 and was completed in November 2010. Tristar Engineering was the lead design engineer and J2 Engineering was the landscape architect
