February 14, 2011 will mark Arizona’s 99th Statehood Day and Achen-Gardner Construction will be in downtown Phoenix for the official kick-off to the Arizona’s Centennial.
Achen-Gardner is the proud design-builder on the Centennial Way (Federal Aid Transportation Enhancement) Project. It is our pleasure to improve Washington Street from Central Avenue to 19th Avenue and pave the way for Arizona's Centennial Celebration.
On Monday, February 14, 2011, Countdown to Centennial will be held on the Arizona State Capitol Senate Lawn from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The countdown is a free event and will be an EXPO of 60+ booths showcasing Signature Events and Projects, Legacy Projects and Official Centennial Events happening across the state for the next year. Achen-Gardner will have a booth where we will highlight many features of the Centennial Way project.
The Official Centennial Mascot (The Arizona Copper Chopper) will also be making an appearance and Dave Pratt will be on the Countdown Stage where 20 entertainers, ranging from re-enactors to musical performances, all with a special tie to Arizona, will perform.
